It used to be hard to imagine how graphic designers and artists can carve a decent career by just designing letters, font and types. In recent years, hand drawn lettering and fonts seemed to be stealing the design scene and public interest. A growing number of graphic designers have successfully crafted a career as lettering designers and artists. Well, let us banish the thought that technology is killing the design industry as it proves that creativity is not a skill that can be automated, it requires craft. And Pellisco, a graphic designer from Bucaramanga, Colombia, who is a lover of the lettering, typography and illustration, is here to prove us wrong if you are adamant that technology will strike again.

“Heart Gold – “La Ruta” Is a personal project which had been working more than one year, the objective of this project is to find meaning in the different facets that you can have in life, your choose the road you should go. It collects some of the phrases in Lettering and illustrations.

Oblivion 2 and Only Time, Oblivion 2 – It is the collection of some family portraits and the continuation of “Oblivion”. The collection of some photos that were my grandfather’s. memories that have been in the past, the idea was to rescue those dusty photos, linking phrases with a style of Hand Lettering, to give another twist to that part of the story to keep those intact memories.

Skull – This project collects some illustrations that were used in the project “La Ruta”, this a personal project which had been working more than one year, vibrant colors and marked lines.” Pellisco
